Search Engine Optimization – Why is it Important
That’s a fair question. I mean I have lived in or around South Carolina for about 50 years now. In South Carolina, a company’s reputation and word of mouth advertising ought to be enough to carry the day, right? Wrong!
For better or worse, our community is at the forefront of the technology revolution. I mean all you have to do is look at local blogs or the State paper for that matter and you will see companies like Amazon, Boeing, and many others making their home here. Our citizens are embracing and using new technologies on a grand scale.
And, of course, if you are talking about the standard barer of today’s modern technology, it’s search engines in general—and probably, GOOGLE in specific. Heck, even my 70 year old Dad “googles” everything from local obituaries to golf course reviews, and like my 9 year old who also lives by the search engines, he’s pretty good with it. In fact, a lot of people use search engines!
